It was a nice quiet tailgate weekend for Lucy's first game. Auntie Liz even bought her a cute little fan outfit! We had a relaxing morning at the townhouse and Mommy got to go for a nice hill training run while Dad and Granddad watched Lucy. It was incredible weather and Lucy loved looking around at all the sights at the stadium. Great family weekend!

The DC Cherry Blossoms
Perfection! Our little Lucy came in perfect timing to see our last cherry blossom season in DC. I can't even describe how much I will miss this place. I know that Ohio will be a great change for our family and I'm thrilled about our new house, but it is so sad to leave the city life and our fabulous friends. We were planning on meeting with Maj and Mitch and Emma and Phil and all the kids, but the Matthews clan (3 kids under 3) didn't make it. It was crazy crowded but well worth it for the pictures and sights. Lucy loved looking around!
Happy Easter!
Lucy's first Easter was a beautiful weekend in Pittsburgh. We celebrated with the Cybulski's on Saturday and the Edgar's on Sunday! Aunt Karen hosted a beautiful and delicious dinner at her new house and Lucy loved being passed around and meeting more relatives. We celebrated at Aunt Dianne's house on Sunday for a lunch and drove back to Bethesda later on Easter night. Beautiful holiday celebrating that Jesus is risen!

Two Months Old
Our teeny baby girl is 2 months old! She has truly been our biggest and best accomplishment and I am so proud to be her mama. We truly couldn't ask for a better baby. She sleeps through the night and allows me to keep working out. We started running with the jogging stroller this month and Lucy just loves to sleep the whole time. She is my little cheerleader!
Height: 22.8 inches
Weight: 10.4 pounds
Eating: Lucy eats every 2-3 hours during the day. She goes to sleep around 8:00-8:30 and stays sleeping until about 5 AM. I feed her and she will usually go back to sleep for an hour or so (and so do I!) She started sleeping through the night (7 hour stretches) around 7 weeks old.
Likes: baths (Lucy took her first real bath in California and now she LOVES it), staring at mom and dad, stroller walks, sleeping and stretching after her swaddle comes undone!
Dislikes: being awake in her car seat is still not her favorite time! and tummy time
Nicknames: Lucy Goose, Luce, Little Peanut, Goose, Tiny girl, Lulu, Lu
Clothing size: 0-3 months
We Bought a House!
Miss Lucy has been quite the traveler already, so we decided to just continue that trend and take her to Dayton to buy a house. We looked in Beavercreek/Fairborn area first, but then decided we wanted a little closer to the city, more of a walking community and a better commute for Dan. When we looked in Oakwood, we knew that was the perfect place for our family! It is such a desirable area that there were no houses available in our price range. Our amazing realtor, Bryan, literally knocked on doors to ask if people would want to sell. We found a family that had been wanting to move to a bigger house and bought it before it even went on the market. Perfect! And I knew God meant for us to be there when we took a walk and St. Albert the Great was the church right down the street. That is the parish my parents got married in and we've always gone there with my grandparents. We bought our first home for $174,000 on 252 Monteray Ave in Oakwood, Ohio and we couldn't be any more excited for the fun projects we have ahead of us. It will be pretty fun to be close to my first college and live in a more suburban area.. at least that is what I have to keep telling myself!
