We Bought a House!
Miss Lucy has been quite the traveler already, so we decided to just continue that trend and take her to Dayton to buy a house. We looked in Beavercreek/Fairborn area first, but then decided we wanted a little closer to the city, more of a walking community and a better commute for Dan. When we looked in Oakwood, we knew that was the perfect place for our family! It is such a desirable area that there were no houses available in our price range. Our amazing realtor, Bryan, literally knocked on doors to ask if people would want to sell. We found a family that had been wanting to move to a bigger house and bought it before it even went on the market. Perfect! And I knew God meant for us to be there when we took a walk and St. Albert the Great was the church right down the street. That is the parish my parents got married in and we've always gone there with my grandparents. We bought our first home for $174,000 on 252 Monteray Ave in Oakwood, Ohio and we couldn't be any more excited for the fun projects we have ahead of us. It will be pretty fun to be close to my first college and live in a more suburban area.. at least that is what I have to keep telling myself!
Lucy's First Airplane Ride
Sarah's first trip to San Fransisco after having Madeline became a family girl's week! With two babies staying in the same hotel room, there were just a few bumps. I got the stomach flu a few days before going on the trip and it traveled with me and spread to Nanny, Sarah and Madeline by the third day. Yuck!! They were so thankful to me for sharing. After totally contaminating that room, we switched to a new room and by the middle of the week, everyone was feeling better and we still had a fun time. I even took my first post baby run along the Embarcadero with the babies and Nanny! Lucy did fabulous on the flight and slept the whole time both ways. Surprise surprise!

God Bless Baby Lucy!
Lucy was baptized on March 7, 2015 at St. Louise de Marillac by Fr. Mike
Caridi. He is the same priest who married Dan and I. We had both of our
families there to celebrate and it was also a special celebration because of
Pappy’s 91st birthday! Before the Baptism, we were at Dan’s house
for a special brunch with Mimi, Granddad, Aunt Liz, Grandma Tarr, Aunt Karen,
Bill, Carol and Jenna. Lucy put her beautiful gown on there that we borrowed
from Madeline and we went to church at 1:00. It was a private ceremony followed
by some gorgeous pictures taken by Emily! We went to Aunt Dianne’s after for a
combined Baptism/Birthday party for food, desserts and cake with all the
cousins, aunts, uncles and Gram and Pap. God bless Lucy Jean on her Baptism
day!
