When I first got pregnant with Lucy and started appointments with Dr.
Royster, he recommended that I do the Walter Reed centering group. It is a
group of couples that are pregnant and due in the same month that meets once a
month to have an appointment with a nurse practitioner and discuss
pregnancy/baby related topics. At first, I wasn’t so sure about the group. I
thought it was information I didn’t need, but it turns out that these ladies
have become my friends and support. We have started a facebook group to ask
each other questions and provide kind words when needed! We met at the hospital
a month after the babies were born and it was great to see them all together
after they all grew in our bellies!
