We traveled to Pittsburgh to meet the rest of the family and our friends
when Lucy was almost three weeks old. It was perfect timing because Dan was
able to take 2 weeks of paternity leave and we went during his second week so
we were able to have some time just us in Bethesda first. She was amazing on
the drive there and slept the whole way other than one step at Keyser's Ridge
for a quick feed and diaper change. We visited with Dan's grandparents, my
grandparents, Dan's parents, my parents, Sarah, Jimmy, Madeline, Aunt Dianne,
Mrs. Bower, Stef, Jamie, Kristin, Mrs. Olson, Schroeders and Chick, Aunt Karen
and Bill, and Lisa and Savannah. I hope I'm not forgetting anyone! Lucy loved to
meet everyone and slept through most of the trip! She even went to a Pitt
basketball game and really wasn't bothered by all the noise. What a flexible
baby we have!
